The INTERMEDIATE CLASS 是调香入门课程,是帮助你成为专业调香师的第一步。该课程提供的并不是重复的嗅觉训练或单向的教学输出,反而更注重于实践的学习。
为了确保深入、具体地研究和香水知识,官方学校还会给每位学员提供一个用于制作香水的材料套装,含50种调香原材料,它并不仅仅是一个简单的嗅觉训练材料,还可以用它尽情探索香气奥秘和练习调香。
课程内容(线下授课):
课程设置为理论讲解+实操+课后练习+作品点评+随堂测试相结合的方式

Week 1 / Day 1:
理论部分:香调与赋香率金字塔(C&D),调香名词介绍(E),香调区分与特征(F),
调香架构(G),Single Floral/单方花香调讲解(M)
实践部分:Single Floral /单方花香调练习(玫瑰,茉莉,紫丁香,铃兰)
Week 2 / Day 2:
理论部分:天然香料种类及提取方法(H)
实践部分:前调盲测,Flowery Bouquet/复合花香调练习(经典花香调, 醛香花香调, 绿意花香调,水果花香调)
中调盲测,Chypre / 西普调 /素心兰调练习(西普花香调,西普果香调,西普清新调)
Week 3 / Day 3:
理论部分:调香历史
实践部分:尾调盲测,Oriental / 东方香调练习(东方花香调,东方木质调,东方辛辣调);
Fougere / 馥奇香调练习(馥奇清新调,馥奇辛辣木质调,馥奇东方调)
Week 4 / Day 4:
考试(盲测考试,理论考试);
学习基底制作和调香溶液制作知识,并完成制作多种香氛产品:香水,滚珠香水,空间香氛喷雾,无火香氛,固体香膏

课程费用:
根据韩国ISDH调香学校指导定价,费用为$2370(税后共计$2445),包含以下3者:
A. 材料费:50瓶调香材料套组+官方纸质课本+国际运费 + 耗材 - $590
B. 证书申请费+国际运费 - $280
C. 课程费 - $1500 (*+5% GST ;)
*国际直邮如产生关税请自行承担;

ISDH Certified Perfumery Course – Intermediate Class
As an overseas Vancouver affiliate of the International School of Design Handicraft Perfumery (ISDH, Korea), Daydream Lab is officially authorized to offer the certified perfumery program. Our curriculum, teaching standards, and pricing are fully aligned with the official ISDH system.
The Intermediate Class is an entry-level perfumery course and the first step toward becoming a professional perfumer. Rather than focusing on repetitive scent memorization or one-way instruction, this course emphasizes hands-on, practice-based learning.
To support a deeper and more structured understanding of perfumery, each student will receive an official materials kit from ISDH, including 50 perfumery raw materials. This kit is not only for olfactory training, but also allows you to explore scent composition and practice blending extensively throughout and beyond the course.
What You Will Learn
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Create your own fragrance compositions with a distinct personal style
- Understand perfume structure and scent families
- Formulate and produce a range of fragrance products, including:
- Eau de Parfum
- Reed diffuser
- Solid perfume balm
- Roll-on perfume
- Room spray
Course Structure (In-person)
The course combines theory, hands-on practice, assignments, critique, and assessments.
Week 1 / Day 1
Theory: Fragrance pyramid and concentration, perfumery terminology, scent families and characteristics, fragrance structure, introduction to single floral accords
Practice: Single floral blending (rose, jasmine, lilac, lily of the valley)
Week 2 / Day 2
Theory: Types of natural raw materials and extraction methods
Practice:
- Top note blind testing
- Floral bouquet accords (classic floral, aldehydic floral, green floral, fruity floral)
- Middle note blind testing
- Chypre accords (floral chypre, fruity chypre, fresh chypre)
Week 3 / Day 3
Theory: History of perfumery
Practice:
- Base note blind testing
- Oriental accords (floral oriental, woody oriental, spicy oriental)
- Fougère accords (fresh fougère, woody fougère, oriental fougère)
Week 4 / Day 4
- Final assessment (theory + blind testing)
- Learning base formulation and blending solutions
- Creating multiple fragrance products: perfume, roll-on, room spray, diffuser, solid balm
Additional Materials & Support
Daydream Lab provides:
- Supplier resources for perfumery materials
- Wholesale sourcing guidance for packaging and supplies
Course Schedule
Total hours may vary slightly depending on class progress. Courses are offered once per month.
In-person
- 4–5 sessions (once per week)
- Weekday: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Weekend: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Maximum 3 students per class
Online
- 4 weeks total, 1 session per week
- Each session: 2.5 hours
- Flexible scheduling available
- Minimum 1 student, maximum 3 students
Course Fee
Following ISDH official pricing guidelines:
Total: $2370 CAD (after tax: $2445)

These fees above are established by ISDH Perfumery School and collected by Daydream Lab on their behalf.

Notes:
- Any customs duties (if applicable) are the responsibility of the student

- Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee

- The 50-material kit can be taken home for continued practice
- One complimentary refill is available during the course if materials are used up

- Once received, schedule your classes and pay the remaining $1500 + GST

Important to know before booking
- Reservations: To secure your booking, full payment is required in advance.We cannot hold reservations verbally.
- Pricing is for ONE PERSON ONLY. If you’d like to join with a friend or partner, please ensure each person has their own booking.
- Age Limitation: Minimum age is 10 years unless otherwise noted. Workshop materials are for individual use only, cannot be shared by multiple people, and the price is listed per person.
- Studio Access: Open to registered participants only. The studio opens 15 minutes before each workshop begins.
- Food/Drink: We kindly ask that no food is consumed during workshops; water and light beverages are welcome (we also provide water, tea and coffee on site).
- Punctuality: We kindly ask that you arrive on time (ideally about 5 minutes early) so we can start promptly and ensure the best experience for everyone. Late arrivals may shorten your class time and affect other guests. Arriving more than 45 minutes late will be considered a no-show and cannot be accomodated.

- Candle / Soap workshops: minimum 3 participant
- Perfume Making: minimum 3 participants
- Please contact us at least 3 days in advance to check availability
Rescheduling Policy
For Workshops:
- Workshops can be rescheduled via the link in your confirmation email up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time. If the option is no longer available, it means the rescheduling window has expired.
- For groups of 4 or more, we kindly ask for a 5-day notice.
- Rescheduling requests (for any reason) received after the 72-hour notice period are unfortunately no longer able to be accommodated.
- If you’re unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your seat to a friend.
For master classes (4 day class)
7 days before the course starts, you can reschedule for once, and rescheduling will not be allowed within [0-6 days].
Cancellation Policy
All bookings are non-refundable.
- If you need to cancel your booking at least 72 hours before your session, we’re happy to offer a store credit for future use.

- All late reschedule requests, cancellations within 72 hours, or no-shows will be treated as a missed session and are non-refundable, and not eligible for store credit.
- If a session is under-booked, it may be cancelled. In this case, we will notify you at least 2 days in advance and offer the option to either reschedule to another confirmed session or receive a full refund.
- In case of unexpected circumstances such as extreme weather, Daydream Lab will notify guests to cancel the course at least 3 hours before the start of the course and will reschedule the course at an agreed time.

Located about 300 meters from Ikea Richmond, with the studio entrance on the side road, 2nd floor above Cowa Café.
Parking: Plenty of FREE STREET PARKING: You can park along the main or side roads near the studio (plz avoid fire hydrants), or in the exclusive parking spot (2 spots) next to the entrance. Please avoid parking in spaces marked 100/105 as they belong to other businesses.
