Course Booking policy

Located about 300 meters from Ikea Richmond, with the studio entrance on the side road, 2nd floor above Cowa Café.

Parking:

Plenty of FREE STREET PARKING: You can park along the main or side roads near the studio (plz avoid fire hydrants), or in the exclusive parking spot (2 spots) next to the entrance. Please avoid parking in spaces marked 100/105 as they belong to other businesses.

Course Booking:

We strive to provide fun and engaging workshops. Please read the following booking guidelines carefully:

  • New Slots: If our current schedule doesn’t work for you, we can open a new time slot based on your group size (minimum 2 for candle/soap workshops, 3 for perfume workshops). These slots are not private, and other participants may join. For private classes, please check out this page
  • Reservations: To secure your booking, full payment is required in advance. We cannot hold reservations verbally. Please note that we cannot accept cash/payment upon arrival.
  • Studio Access: Open to registered participants only. The studio opens 15 minutes before each workshop begins.
  • Participants: Minimum age is 10 years unless otherwise noted. Workshop materials are for individual use only, cannot be shared by multiple people,  and the price is listed per person.
  • Food/Drink: We kindly ask that no food is consumed during workshops;  water and light beverages are welcome (we also provide water, tea and coffee on site).

 

    Cancellation Policy:

    Please note that refunds are not available after 24 hours of placing your order (If a refund is requested within 24 hours, 97% of the payment amount will be refunded, as 3% of the payment amount is charged by Shopify as transaction fee and not refundable on our end).

    We do not issue refunds or offer rescheduling for no-shows or unattended classes.

    Rescheduling Policy:

    Rescheduling is allowed under certain conditions and your spots are fully transferable.

    • For groups of 1-2, a 3-day (72-hour) notice is required.
    • For groups of 3 or more, we kindly ask for a 5-day notice.
    • You can reschedule directly through your confirmation email . If the option is no longer available, it means the rescheduling window has expired.
    • Rescheduling requests sent after the notice period can no longer be accommodated. As a small business, we truly appreciate your understanding that we’re unable to make exceptions or reply to last-minute requests once the rescheduling window has passed, so that our workshops can continue to run smoothly for everyone.

    In case of unexpected circumstances such as extreme weather, Daydream Lab will notify guests to cancel the course at least 3 hours before the start of the course and will reschedule the course at an agreed time.

      4-Day Certificate Course:

      14 days before the course starts, you can reschedule for free once, and rescheduling will not be allowed within [0-14 days]


      Punctuality:

      We kindly ask that you arrive on time (ideally about 5 minutes early) so we can start promptly and ensure the best experience for everyone. Late arrivals may shorten your class time and affect other guests. If unexpected delays occur, we can wait up to 5 minutes after the scheduled start. However, arriving more than 40 minutes late will be considered a no-show. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a smooth and enjoyable workshop for all!
